Tong Torque Gauge

The tong torque gauge system is designed to ensure uniform and proper mending of the drill pipe or casing by displaying the precise torque applied to each joint while the drill pipe or casing is running. Our clamp-on torque meter can help minimize drill collar and tool joint failures due to improper mending. The system consists of a 6-inch clamp-on torque indicator with bracket, a standard 25-foot hose and a tension transducer. The easy-to-install design allows the instrument to be mounted on the driller's bench, in a weight indicator box, or on its own.
